1 The Hirer shall receive the bicycle(s) in perfect technical condition. The hirer is solely responsible for the bicycle(s) from the time of handover.

2 We only rent out vehicles on presentation of an identity card or driving licence and reserve the right to charge a security deposit if necessary, which will be refunded on proper return.

3 The rental period is bindingly agreed in the contract. A late return is not permitted and will be charged at least 200% of the rental price or all costs arising from the late return, such as a cancelled subsequent rental.

4 The hirer is obliged to check the condition of the bicycle(s) on receipt and to report any visible defects or damage. Damage during the hire period must be reported immediately and the costs incurred for repairing the damage must be borne by the hirer.

5 Payment of the rental price and ancillary services shall be made upon reservation.

6 The applicable rental prices are available on our homepage www.twofinewheels and can be found in our current advertising flyer. The hire prices include taxes and duties.

7 If a reservation is cancelled up to 30 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental costs will be refunded. In the event of cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period, no refund will be made.

8 No money will be refunded if the rental is cancelled or the trip does not take place (examples: bad or too good weather, changeable weather forecast, illness, unwillingness to travel, failure to start the trip or other reasons).

9 The Hirer is solely liable in the event of theft. The renter is also liable for damage to the bicycle/bicycles and accessories due to negligence or wilful damage. The costs are to be borne in full by the renter and are not insured. This also applies to damage to the paintwork on the frame caused by parking on bicycle stands or stone walls with sharp-edged stones. Particular attention must be paid here.

10 The Hirer undertakes to keep the bicycle(s) and accessories secure at all times and never to leave them unattended. At night, the bicycle/bicycles and accessories must be parked in a secure, lockable room. In the event of loss, the renter must pay the replacement value. This is calculated as follows:

Bicycles less than 1 year old: New price

Bicycles older than 1 year: 75% of the new price

For bicycles in the Premium, Premium+ and Club categories, the new value must always be paid.

A price list of the bicycles can be viewed on request.

11 Any deposit retained will be refunded if the equipment is returned in a clean condition, including all accessories. If the equipment is returned in a dirty, unacceptable condition, €10 may be retained for cleaning.

12 The renter expressly agrees that the credit card details may be used to settle any claims.

13 Two Fine Wheels is not liable for damage caused to the hirer or third parties through the use of the bicycle/bicycles and accessories. Use and sporting activity as well as participation in guided tours is at your own risk.

14 If no medical certificate is presented for participation in the activity, the hirer declares on his/her own responsibility that he/she is able to participate in the activity.

15 Customers under the age of 16 must provide written parental authorisation.

16 Two Fine Wheels reserves the right to cancel the activity or rental without further notice and without refund if the customer is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

17 Two Fine Wheels offers a breakdown service of 2€ per kilometre distance to the shop. Its availability cannot be guaranteed for logistical reasons and is therefore not part of the contract.

18 Tenants are expressly recommended to take out liability insurance.

19 For any disputes arising from this contract, the application of Spanish law and the jurisdiction of the competent court shall be agreed, provided that there are no mandatory provisions to the contrary.
